Google has changed today on the homepage logo to mark the anniversary of 118 years of the birth of Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, physiologist and biochemist of Romanian origin, who discovered vitamin C and citric acid reactions. Google's new doodle consists primarily of images of oranges.
Albert Szent-Györgyi received the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1937, the largest discovery of him to be vitamin C.
Albert Szent-Györgyi died at the age of 93 years, in 1986, in Woods Hole, Massachusetts (USA), where he emigrated in 1947.
Google logo changes frequently homage to great personalities in the world or to make cultural events, sporting or political.
