After numerous attempts to penetrate the mobile market, Facebook made a deal with the Taiwanese from HTC to launch the first cell under the tutelage giant in Palo Alto, adapted to the needs of social network users. If a few days ago sources close to Facebook reported that the gadget name is Buffy and will appear in no more than 12-18 months, recent disclosures made to Business Insider launches in April 2012, earlier than previously believed.
The same source informs that the term of 12-18 months was expected for the launch of Buffy's successor, the second Facebook phone, which will be most likely designed in collaboration with Koreans from Samsung. It seems that it will hit the market at the end of 2012 or no later than early 2013. Attempts to create a Facebook mobile phone have suffered from developers such as LG or Motorola, but Google was the one that resulted in the project through his famous "Android".
