Android users get 50 GB cloud storage from box.com, for life

Users of smartphones or tablets with Android operating system experience an big promotion this month. Box.com, provider of storage and "in cloud" file sharing, offers to everybody who download the Box app from Android Market 50 GB of storage space.

In addition, the maximum file size supported increased from 25 MB to 100 MB.

The promotion is valid until 23 March.

Normally accounts on box.com offers 5 GB free "in cloud" storage. Box.com is offering now free 50GB storage space which cost about $20/month before the promotion.

Owners of smartphones with Windows Phone can choose Microsoft SkyDrive that offers 25 GB of free storage, while IOS users have the iCloud service available.
