Google could enter the tablet market with a 7-inch model

Google is preparing to enter the world of tablets with a model developed under its own brand, not very expensive and equipped with a 7 inch screen.

According to analysts, the tablet could go into production sometime during the month of April, reaching the market price near the amount of $ 200, competing with the popular Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet. Initial production volume is estimated at 1.5 - 2 million copies.

The tablet produced by Google will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, whose interface is shown on a screen resolution 1280x800 pixels, slightly higher than the 1024x600 pixel screen display of its direct competitor Amazon Kindle Fire.

The fact is that market with 7 inch screen tablet will become more competitive in the future, once Apple will come into play with the 7 inch version of the iPad tablet. Fortunately for Google, Apple tablet will probably reach the market until the the end of this year, giving enough time for a product company able to survive the competition from Apple.
