Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia announced today its first terminal based on Windows Phone 8, Lumia 920, removing the mystery which enveloped until now some specifications of this model.

Flagship of the Lumia family, the new Nokia phone is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus platform, namely a MSM8960 clocked at 1.5 GHz, and offers a 4.5" screen with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The IPS improved screen called by the manufacturer PureMotion HD +, promises the highest brightness and highest refresh rate available in the market, strong daylight visibility is improved by adjusting the brightness and color tones.

An interesting technology addition is the ability to operate with gloves the capacitive surface of screen, "Super Sensitive Touch" technology is licensed from Synaptics.

The case is already known, Lumia 920 having a design reminiscent enough of the previous flagship Lumia 900 for construction but now using polycarbonate with a glossy surface.

Terminal color versions will be available in yellow, red, gray, white and black. The phone size are 130.3 x 10.7 x 10.7 mm and weight is unexpectedly high: not less than 185 grams.

A promising screen of 4.5"
