YouTube leadership decided to take action against a problem that has long been sensed and that until now could not be resolved.

Dror Shimoshowitz, project manager at Google, the company which is the owner of YouTube, said in a press conference in a few months hopes to solve the main problem of this site: abusive comments.

For now, the only way users can avoid malicious is to disable comments section. But in this way nobody can write comments, neither those who are well intentioned.

Although it gave no details on the changes to be made, the site management let to understand that from now on those who leave comments will not be anonymous, so will have to provide more personal information about them, before they permitted to write.

Thus, if the only way they can post comments will be using real names, fewer people will be tempted to write offensive messages.
