Nokia Lumia 925 - metal construction for the new top of the range

First Nokia Lumia with partial metal casing was announced today. Lumia 925 has a metal frame on all sides, but it differs from the one we saw on the Sony Xperia SP. The Finnish manufacturer has used this frame as an antenna for more internet module, an idea that seems to have been taken from the iPhone 4/4S. In front we have a 4.5" HD screen with ClearBlack panel, which translates AMOLED. Below is a list of the most important specifications of the Nokia Lumia 925.

Lumia 925 does not have a metal cover on the back. Nokia provides wireless charging the terminal, but only by means of an adapter that are attached on the rear. The three points of contact over the speaker are transferring current from the adapter to the battery. The manufacturer may have chosen to remove the Qi module from the chassis to reduce weight.

Nokia Lumia 925 has no card slot and internal storage capacity is limited to 16 GB. For a top of the range, this memory is a bit low. PureView camera with 8.7 MP sensor has been improved from the one shown on the Lumia 920 and Lumia 928. It now has six lenses in the lens instead of five and boast better performance in low light and superior clarity.
