Google new algorithm to combat online piracy
Google announced last weekend that it will change its search engine algorithm to prioritize legal content. The change will be applied starting this week.

Sites that are claimed as having pirated content will be demoted in the list of displayed results. But these sites will be announced in advance by Google, to answer charges of piracy, reports Bloomberg.

According to Google, last month, the number of withdrawal requests of content was amounted to about 4.3 million more than the total number recorded in 2009.
